REWARDING TOGETHER, which made contact with a rail on entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race. SILVER FIG began only fairly. When being steadied on jumping with a view to being shifted across behind runners, ASTROLOGER was bumped by THE ROCK which shifted in. After this, THE ROCK was also steadied and shifted across behind runners. After travelling a short distance, GRATEFUL HEART was awkwardly placed outside the heels of PING HAI GALAXY which shifted out. Passing the 800 Metres, MAJESTIC STAR momentarily raced tight inside the heels of BUDDIES which shifted in before being directed back out to relieve the crowding. MAJESTIC STAR again raced in restricted room between PING HAI GALAXY and BUDDIES after the 700 Metres as BUDDIES was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CAMPIONE which shifted in. After the 800 Metres, THE ROCK was taken wider by ASTROLOGER which shifted out. After this, THE ROCK was steadied to obtain a trailing position behind ASTROLOGER. CAMPIONE travelled wide and without cover until after the 700 Metres. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, ASTROLOGER was awkwardly placed outside the heels of KEEP YOU WARM. ASTROLOGER was then awkwardly placed close to the heels of KEEP YOU WARM for some distance after the 500 Metres. At the entrance to the Straight, PING HAI GALAXY and CAMPIONE raced tight. In the early part of the Straight, MAJESTIC STAR lay in under pressure and approaching the 200 Metres raced tight outside CAMPIONE which in turn raced tight outside PING HAI GALAXY which was taken out by HARMONY AND RICH. After the 150 Metres, HARMONY AND RICH shifted out and brushed PING HAI GALAXY on a number of occasions. Over the concluding stages, MAJESTIC STAR lay in under pressure and raced tight outside PING HAI GALAXY. Throughout the race, BUDDIES travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of CAMPIONE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. REWARDING TOGETHER and FAMILY FOLKS were sent for sampling.
