FOXHUNTER WAY shifted in at the start and bumped THIS IS CHARISMA which in turn shifted in and bumped REGENCY MASTER. MURRAY’S PARTNERS was slow to begin. From the outside barrier, YOUNG EXPLORER was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Approaching the 1700 Metres, MURRAY’S PARTNERS was checked away from the heels of REGENCY MASTER which, after shifting in, was straightened by its rider before being bumped by THIS IS CHARISMA (L Hewitson) which shifted in. L Hewitson was severely reprimanded and told to ensure that he is alert to other runners when shifting ground and reacts as quickly as possible to provide runners to his inside with comfortable racing room. Passing the 400 Metres, SUPERB DADDY was awkwardly placed behind SUNNY BABY when held up for clear running behind that horse and after the 150 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of FOXHUNTER WAY which lay out under pressure. Passing the 300 Metres, MURRAY’S PARTNERS was shifted in away from the heels of REGENCY MASTER. A veterinary inspection of MURRAY’S PARTNERS and JUBILATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SUNNY BABY and LOYAL AMBITION were sent for sampling.
