HEARTLINE was slow to begin and was then crowded for room between REWARDING STAR and JOLLY GOOD which jumped inwards. CERISE CHERRY and LEGEND bumped at the start, resulting in CERISE CHERRY becoming unbalanced. From the outside barrier, POLYGOLD was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 1100 Metres, MASTER KEY shifted out when being checked away from the heels of HEARTLINE. Near the 800 Metres, HEARTLINE was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of VIVA FIGHTER. The performance of MR BLACKBERRY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MR BLACKBERRY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of DEPOSER after the race did not show any significant findings. PRESTO and LEGEND were sent for sampling.
