PLANET was slow to begin and then shortly after the start was steadied when crowded for room between HEY HA MASTER and HOME WITH GLORY which was taken out by DOUBLE DRAGON. After this, PLANET was taken across behind runners. Passing the 800 Metres, HOME WITH GLORY and BOYZ ROCK were momentarily crowded for room inside SHOWTIME which shifted in slightly. Near the 500 Metres, BOYZ ROCK raced in restricted room between PLANET and SHOWTIME. Shortly after entering the Straight, ENGINEERING WONDER was taken in by MULTILOVE which got its head on the side and shifted in. PLANET, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence. Then, approaching the 200 Metres, PLANET, which was shifting to the outside of MULTILOVE to improve its position, was momentarily held up for clear running behind that horse which shifted out and inside HOME WITH GLORY which shifted in slightly. Near the 250 Metres, SHOWTIME had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Throughout the race, GUAN DAO travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of BOYZ ROCK after the race did not show any significant findings. PROSPEROUS and CLASSIC NAVIGATOR were sent for sampling.
