MY HOME TOWN was withdrawn on 22.2.11 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, MY HOME TOWN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Shortly after the start, OTTIMO was steadied away from the heels of FUN RIDER which was taken in by FLUKE (O Doleuze). O Doleuze was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he exercises greater care in future. At the entrance to the Straight, CHEER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of KENOBE. For the majority of the race, WIN PRACTITIONER travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of OTTIMO after the race did not show any significant findings. CHEER, PENGLAI XIANZI and FUN RIDER were sent for sampling.
