SLEEP WELL was slow to begin. From a wide barrier, HOLIDAY SUN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Approaching the 1000 Metres, HOLIDAY SUN got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of NORTH HILL. Near the 900 Metres, EXCEPTIONAL ART commenced to race fiercely and got its head up for some distance when being checked away from the heels of JOYFUL WINNER II. EXCEPTIONAL ART then continued to be awkwardly placed on the heels of JOYFUL WINNER II for some distance. At the entrance to the Straight, JOYFUL WINNER II was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ARION OF CHIU TON which shifted out. For the majority of the race, ARION OF CHIU TON travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of ARION OF CHIU TON after the race did not show any significant findings. EXCEPTIONAL ART, NOBLE DELUXE and REGENCY WINNER were sent for sampling.
