DYNAMIC CROSS became unbalanced after shifting out and bumping HIGH RETURN on jumping. SOLAR WONDER began awkwardly and then shortly after the start became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by GLOBAL FAME which was slow to begin. Approaching the 1500 Metres, SOLAR WONDER was steadied away from the heels of FASTPLUS MASTER (O Doleuze) which shifted in when not properly clear. O Doleuze was reprimanded. After the 1300 Metres, GLOBAL FAME proved very difficult to settle and got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FOLLOW THE WIND. Approaching the 300 Metres, FASTPLUS MASTER was shifted out away from the heels of DYNAMIC CROSS which was taken wider by FORTUNE BRAVO which shifted out to obtain clear running. Near the 250 Metres, DYNAMIC CROSS, which was commencing to give ground, was steadied when crowded for room between CHAMPION MOUNT and FORTUNE BRAVO which was taken out by FOLLOW THE WIND (A Suborics). A Suborics was advised to exercise care. Near the 100 Metres, CHAMPION MOUNT and FORTUNE BRAVO raced tight as CHAMPION MOUNT shifted in away from the heels of THE ONLY KID. Over the concluding stages, WEALTH PARK raced in restricted room between HIGH RETURN and FOLLOW THE WIND. Close to the finishing line, OUR DYNASTY was awkwardly placed inside the heels of HIGH RETURN. Throughout the race, DYNAMIC CROSS travelled wide and without cover. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CHAMPION MOUNT had lost its right front plate. A veterinary inspection of GLOBAL FAME after the race did not show any significant findings. CHAMPION MOUNT, THE ONLY KID and HIGH RETURN were sent for sampling.
