On arrival at the Start, K Teetan expressed concern regarding the action of INVENTOR. INVENTOR was examined by the Veterinary Officer who, after the necessary consultations, said the horse was suitable to race. TIME WARP shifted in on jumping, resulting in SPEEDY LONGWAH and SERGEANT TITANIUM being hampered. From the outside barriers, SUPER CHIC, PIKACHU and CHATER LEGEND were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 450 Metres, PIKACHU and CHATER LEGEND raced tight. PIKACHU was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and approaching the 200 Metres was checked out away from the heels of LET US WIN. Passing the 100 Metres, SERGEANT TITANIUM raced tight between LET US WIN and CLASSIC EMPEROR which shifted out when giving ground. Over the concluding stages, SERGEANT TITANIUM was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MR GENUINE. For the majority of the race, SPEEDY LONGWAH travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of LITTLE DRAGON immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, LITTLE DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of CLASSIC EMPEROR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TIME WARP and BIG BANG BONG were sent for sampling.
