After leaving the Parade Ring, FALCON TURBO became fractious, resulting in K Teetan being dislodged. When riderless, FALCON TURBO made contact with some rails. FALCON TURBO was subsequently examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion the horse was lame in its right hind leg and accordingly was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, FALCON TURBO was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, FALCON TURBO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. ONE VOICE began very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped SUGAR SUGAR. ONE VOICE was then brushed by LESLIE which shifted out after becoming unbalanced as a result of being bumped by GOLD GOLD BABY which shifted out. After this, SUGAR SUGAR raced tight between ONE VOICE and RIVER VIEWS which shifted in marginally and after travelling a short distance was steadied to obtain a position closer to the rail. SIX BEST FRIENDS began awkwardly, shifted out and brushed FUN N GLORY. HO HO JUNIOR shifted in on jumping and bumped the hindquarters of IRON KING which became unbalanced. After this, IRON KING and HO HO JUNIOR were steadied to obtain cover from wide barriers. Also from the outside barrier, WOODFIRE BRO was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. SNOWALOT was steadied in the early stages to obtain a position closer to the rail. KAI XIN DRAGON lay out under pressure in the Straight. Throughout the race, RIVER VIEWS travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of HEI WONGCHOY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of HEI WONGCHOY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HEI WONGCHOY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After the race, it was reported that ONE VOICE had bled from both nostrils and that FUN N GLORY had sustained a small laceration to the right hind pastern. A veterinary inspection of WOODFIRE BRO, SIX BEST FRIENDS and IRON KING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KAI XIN DRAGON and ONE VOICE were sent for sampling.
