WIN PRACTITIONER was slow to begin. In the early stages, GROWL travelled wide and without cover. At the 700 Metres, EYE WITNESS was checked and became unbalanced when awkwardly placed on the heels of LONDON EXPRESS which became unbalanced and bumped the running rail when awkwardly placed inside VIVA PATACA. Over the concluding stages, VIVA PATACA shifted wider on the track. Approaching the winning post, PACKING WINNER, which had been drifting wider, shifted out abruptly. EVER BRIGHT was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, EVER BRIGHT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, EVER BRIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PACKING WINNER and VIVA PATACA were sent for sampling.
