TRAVEL CONSULTANT bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. Shortly after the start, WINE WIN and HAPPY GO LUCKY were crowded for room between MASTER GREEN and JOLLY GOOD FORTUNE which shifted out. From a wide barrier, GOOD TO GO was taken across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the turn at the 600 Metres, MACHO EXPRESSO hung in. At the 250 Metres, GOOD TO GO, which was shifting out to obtain clear running, was hampered and bumped on several occasions by MASTER GREEN (Apprentice K L Chui) which shifted in. After the 200 Metres, MASTER GREEN was carried wider by GOOD TO GO which shifted out. Apprentice Chui was severely reprimanded and told in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount sooner than he did on this occasion. At the 50 Metres, GOOD TO GO was brushed by MASTER GREEN which got its head on the side and shifted in slightly. Throughout the race, LUCKY WINNER travelled wide and without cover. Following the race, O Doleuze (PLAN B) reported his saddle shifted to the right hand side making the Home Turn. He said because of this he was placed at a disadvantage in riding his mount out. WINE WIN was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WINE WIN after the race did not show any significant findings. MACHO EXPRESSO, JOLLY GOOD FORTUNE and LUCKY WINNER were sent for sampling.
