Two weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley mile, jumping moderately and settling towards the back with a steady pace before making a late surge to finish third. He was beaten by only half a length and showed good potential. A subsequent dirt trial over a mile further indicated solid form. This time he carries only a one-pound increase in weight, boasts a favorable draw within his group, and appears stronger than most rivals. The trainer and jockey have a strong rapport; despite failing to win in three attempts at this distance, the outside barrier doesn't diminish hopes of leading the field.
