Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Happy Valley 1800m, with a slow start and settling at the back of the field. It faded significantly and finished well-beaten. Switching to a dirt mile next, running this distance for the first time, it will carry six pounds less weight. While the distance isn’t ideal and despite drawing an inside barrier, there don't appear to be any significant disadvantages.
