On March 18th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 9-9-10), jumping and settling in an outside position tracking the pace. Four weeks ago, it ran a respectable race over a long distance at Happy Valley, beginning slowly but showing strong momentum from behind. A recent barrier trial didn’t reveal its full potential. On debut on dirt over a mile, this horse has a 2lb weight reduction, though the distance is unfavorable and requires a hold-up tactic. However, its finishing kick isn't as strong as rivals, the horse-trainer combination lacks synergy, despite the jockey change to Antoine Hamelin who understands the horse’s temperament well, it was merely considered a trial run.
