Two weeks ago, this horse ran well on the dirt mile, tracking the pace and finishing second with a strong forward run, beaten only half a length. Now stepping back to Happy Valley over 1800m for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry an additional four pounds. The distance should suit, allowing it to track the leaders or even take the lead. With a favourable barrier draw and good form, it appears to be the strongest contender in this race. Trainer and jockey are working well together with positive momentum; a clean break and commitment to tracking the pace should see it finish among the frontrunners.
