On March 27th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse break slowly and settle towards the rear, picking up speed in the final two sections with a strong finish. Four weeks prior, this horse ran well over Sha Tin’s 1400m, jumping moderately and settling back before showing strong momentum. A subsequent barrier trial performance was satisfactory. Returning from a Happy Valley mile, the horse has a two-pound weight reduction for this race but doesn't have an ideal draw. Despite having four wins from twenty-five starts over this distance, rivals are similarly timed, allowing it to secure a good position behind the leaders. The barrier is favourable and trainer-jockey combination appears in sync; morning trackwork indicates improving condition and rising form, suggesting a hold-up tactics may be employed.
