On March 28th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse pushed hard and finish not far behind. On February 28th, also in a 1200m turf trial at Conghua, it ran moderately while travelling wide throughout. Eight weeks ago, this horse delivered a poor performance on dirt over a mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but no impressive surge, resulting in a significant defeat. After a short break, two barrier trials yielded no encouraging signs. Now switching to a Happy Valley mile for its first attempt at this distance, it faces a 4lb weight increase, an unsuitable track and distance combination, and despite drawing a good barrier, is best observed in its next outing.
