NOBLE PURSUIT
Horse analysis
On April 8th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse finish (7-7-7), slightly urged in the final section with an unremarkable performance. In March, it ran well over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages, maintaining a good stride. After a short break, a subsequent barrier trial didn't show any improvement. Returning to racing, it will run its first race at Happy Valley over a mile, needing to carry nine pounds more this time. Having previously won twice over this distance, and with comparable times to rivals, an advantageous barrier draw is seen as positive. Based on current form compared to other contenders, it appears to be leading the field, well-prepared; however, despite expected to settle towards the back, its finishing kick may not match opponents, leaving its chances uncertain but a performance isn’t unexpected.
