On April 8th, a turf trial over 1600m saw the horse break well from a mid-barrier position and maintain a steady pace after being urged at the 200m mark. Three weeks prior, in a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was poor; it jumped slowly, settled towards the rear, maintained an even pace without any notable acceleration, and finished well beaten. A subsequent barrier trial did not demonstrate exceptional form. Making its debut over a Happy Valley mile this time with a six-pound weight reduction, the distance is unfavorable and the overall situation appears challenging. Even with a good draw, it’s recommended to observe one race before making further assessments.
