On April 11th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse track well, adjusting pace as needed. A recent winner, four weeks ago it ran the same distance with a good performance, settling in a forward position and finishing strongly to win by a length and a half. Subsequent barrier trial form was satisfactory. This time the horse needs to carry eight pounds more, has proven form over this distance, and is timing well against its group. The plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick; trainer and jockey are working well together. Despite drawing an outside barrier, the overall situation isn't unfavorable, and further improvement is expected.
