A first attempt on dirt over 1200m sees the horse receive a one-pound weight reduction for this race, though the distance is unfavorable and it has drawn an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick is expected to be inferior to rivals, making its chances difficult and treating this run as essentially a trial.
