Three weeks prior, it ran poorly over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf track, with a slow start and settling at the back of the field maintaining a steady pace without any impressive acceleration, ultimately finishing well-beaten. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to run on dirt for the first time over 1200m, this horse will carry one pound less weight this race, having shown previous form over this distance. The competition within its group appears reasonable and it has drawn an inside barrier. Karis Teetan takes the ride; a jockey known for controlling pace, though its finishing kick may not match rivals. Current form isn't ideal and trainer-jockey synergy is questionable, suggesting a potential upset.
