LEATHER MASTER

Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over Sha Tin 2000m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a move in the middle stages, maintaining a strong gallop. He finished sixth, beaten three lengths. Having lost twenty pounds in body weight, he’s now stepping down to Happy Valley over 1800m this time with no additional weight. The distance isn't ideal and the barrier draw isn’t particularly advantageous; however, horse and jockey seem well-suited, and trainer/jockey rapport is solid – consider it a trial run.
