Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a strong forward pace and finishing only half a length behind. It finished seventh. This time, it needs to carry one pound more weight. Having previously won twice over this course and distance, and showing good times in its work, it’s capable of securing a good early position. Training has been positive, though despite an unfavorable barrier draw and potentially lacking a strong finishing kick, the horse shouldn't be discounted.
