SIGHT HAPPY

On April 11th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m saw the horse travel comfortably with plenty in hand. Eight weeks prior, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, slow to jump and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but no finishing burst. A subsequent barrier trial showed only moderate form. The horse has dropped 29 pounds in body weight and trialed again over a short course at Happy Valley; now racing with a one-pound reduction in weight, facing rivals with varying times, and drawn an unfavorable barrier. It's anticipated this horse will be held up in the run but may lack the finishing kick to compete effectively, making its chances uncertain despite the trainer and jockey maintaining a reasonable working relationship – form is stable, offering potential for improvement.
