On April 22nd, (dirt trial 1200m: 4-3-3) the horse tracked the rail closely and responded easily to urging over the final two furlongs. Five weeks ago in a Happy Valley 1200m race, performance was poor; settled well forward with an even pace but no finishing kick. One barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to Sha Tin for its debut on turf over 1200m, this time carrying a four-pound weight reduction. The horse has previous form over this distance and recorded good times in the same class. It should be able to settle forward. Based on relative ability, it is considered competitive. Jerry Chau takes the ride, demonstrating some familiarity with the horse's capabilities. Despite an unfavorable draw, the trainer-jockey combination appears less strong, suggesting a potential outsider with upset potential.
