Five weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position but lacking any impressive acceleration. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to Sha Tin for its debut on turf over 1200m, it benefits from a four-pound weight reduction and has previous form at this distance. The sectionals were respectable compared to others in the group; it should be able to secure a good position tracking the leaders given its relative strength. Jerry Chau takes the ride, demonstrating some familiarity with the horse's capabilities. Despite an unfavorable draw, trainer/jockey combination isn’t ideal and is expected to be a longshot contender.
