On April 22nd, recorded a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 2-2-1, running strongly from the 300m mark and heading straight for the finish line. Five weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley mile, jumping moderately but settling back in the field with a consistent pace before making a late run. A recent barrier trial showed improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin is scheduled, with a two-pound weight reduction this time. Although drawn an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic will likely be employed; finishing kick is strong within the group but the overall section times are not favorable, and the situation remains uncertain – aiming for a good performance."
