On April 17th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 8-7-4, showing improvement by keeping to the inside and making up ground. Six weeks ago, it ran a respectable race on the dirt over 1200m, jumping slowly but finishing with a strong late run. A recent barrier trial showed moderate performance. Another turf trial over 1200m is scheduled, this time carrying one pound less weight. The timing of other horses in its group isn’t favorable and the horse's current positioning isn’t ideal; trainer-jockey combination isn't strong. Even if it manages to settle well tracking the leaders and secures an inside barrier, a jockey change to Matthew Poon suggests limited confidence in the horse’s ability.
