Two weeks ago, this horse led over a Sha Tin 1800m race but maintained a steady pace without showing much acceleration. In a subsequent trial over 1400m on the turf, he will carry one pound less weight this time, however, the times of horses in the same group were not impressive. He has drawn an outside barrier and is expected to be held up for a late run, but lacks the finishing kick required to compete effectively. Despite having some past records over this distance, he doesn't appear to be peaking for this race.
