On May 8th, the horse recorded three consecutive firsts in a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua, leading comfortably. On April 25th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw him finish 9th after a long layoff, considered a breeze-up exercise. Another turf trial on April 8th over 800m was unremarkable with a 2nd, 4th and 5th placing. Having been off the track for some time, this will be his seasonal debut. Three barrier trials have shown slight improvement. A further Sha Tin turf trial over 1200m has been completed with a two-pound weight reduction; however, relative to other horses in the same group, the timing is not advantageous and while he may possess the ability to track leaders, it's unlikely to be his racing style for this event.
