A month ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 2000m distance, jumping slowly and settling at the rear. He faded significantly and finished well-beaten. Returning from Conghua training centre, he will race over a Happy Valley 1800m this time carrying an 18lb penalty. His sectional times were slow with a weak finishing kick, making his prospects unfavourable despite having previous form in this distance. Though capable of settling in a good position tracking the leaders and drawing a favourable barrier, the horse is expected to be at a slower pace.
