One week ago, this horse ran very poorly over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling at the rear. He lacked stamina and finished well-beaten. Returning quickly to race again, he trialled over 1800m at Happy Valley. This time with a nine-pound weight reduction, his section times were reasonable compared to the group, drawing a favourable barrier and showing consistent form in trackwork. Even if forced to settle at the rear this race, his finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals, making him an unfavourable contender and unlikely to significantly impact the outcome.
