Seven weeks ago in a Happy Valley sprint, he performed well despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He finished fourth with a strong late move but was beaten two and a half lengths. After a short break, his trial showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin this time without any additional weight and drawing an inside barrier presents a favorable situation; trainer and jockey are in sync. Even with a similar time difference within the group, he’s expected to settle towards the rear but may lack the finishing kick of his rivals, though still eligible to run.
