On June 17th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-2) the horse showed good speed hugging the rail and was not pushed during the straight. Five weeks ago over the same distance, it ran a respectable race despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move with sustained effort, finishing fourth, beaten two and a half lengths – showing decent ability. A recent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. This time carrying one pound less weight, facing comparable opposition, and benefiting from good trainer-jockey synergy, it's undergoing focused training and is expected to be competitive.
