On May 15th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua resulted in an easy victory while tracking the rail. Two months ago, this horse delivered a solid performance over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly but finishing strongly from behind with good momentum to take third place, beaten only by one length—a respectable showing of ability. Following a short break, two barrier trials have indicated slight improvement. Another dirt trial over 1200m was recently completed; the horse has a one-pound weight reduction for this race and is timing well against its group. It’s expected to secure a good position tracking the leaders with an advantageous inside draw, making it a strong contender in this contest. The horse and jockey are a good match, and continued training suggests it has a chance to turn the tables.
