Maintaining a steady pace throughout, it lacked any significant acceleration and finished well-beaten. A subsequent dirt trial over 1200m sees the horse receive a five-pound weight reduction but recorded poor sectionals during the trial. Drawing an unfavorable outside barrier further compromises its chances, even with late gate work, prospects for this race appear limited.
