On June 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-4-5), the horse showed a late surge but with moderate response. On June 10th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), it jumped out responsively and ran straight to the finish line. Eight weeks ago, in a Happy Valley sprint, performance was poor, tracking the leaders at a steady pace but lacking a finishing kick, beaten two and a half lengths for fifth place. Following a short break, two barrier trials showed improvement. This will be its debut on dirt over 1200m, carrying one extra pound this time. The distance is not ideal and the situation isn’t particularly favorable; even with potential to lead early, it's best to observe its performance in one race first.
