ESCAPE ROUTE

On March 7th, a dirt trial over 1200m in Conghua saw a slightly slow start but relaxed running and good movement (4-4-3). Two weeks ago, this horse ran very disappointingly over Sha Tin’s 2000m turf, settling well but failing to maintain pace and finishing poorly. A subsequent barrier trial showed moderate form. Another Happy Valley mile trial was completed recently; this time carrying no additional weight, despite a good overall time in the group, the barrier draw is acceptable. However, the horse will likely need to be held up in running, and lacks the necessary finishing kick to compete effectively with rivals, making its prospects unfavorable as a pairing."
