He finished eighth, beaten three and a half lengths. Last start, he returned to Happy Valley mile, and will carry 16 pounds more this time. Having previously won twice over this distance with good sectionals, drawing a favourable barrier. Expected to settle towards the rear and finish strongly, connections believe he is the strongest contender in this race.
