Two weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run, finishing within two and a half lengths of the winner in seventh place. This time around, he benefits from a 2lb weight reduction but faces a less favorable situation with a trainer/jockey combination that isn't considered ideal. Despite good recent work, the barrier draw is only fair and a hold-up tactic is expected; however, finishing kick appears decent. Jerry Chau takes the ride, demonstrating some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, though no clear strategy is apparent.
