SPEEDY TRIDENT

Four days ago, this horse ran poorly in a 1200m dirt race, slow to jump and settling at the back with an even pace but no finishing kick. Racing again after four days, switching to a Happy Valley 1200m, it’s his first attempt at this distance. He has a two-pound weight reduction this time, however the distance isn't ideal and he will likely be held up in the run. Finishing speed was weaker than rivals, the situation is unfavourable even with a good barrier draw; best to observe one race first.
