On June 24th (dirt trial 1050m: 3-6-6), the horse showed weakness while running straight. Four weeks ago in a similar distance race, it performed disappointingly, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with steady pace but lacking a finishing burst. A barrier trial session revealed it wasn’t showing significant improvement. This time, the horse will carry one pound more weight; having secured two wins over this distance previously and with comparable times within the group, it should be able to settle well. The horse appears to have an advantageous position and demonstrates higher potential compared to other contenders, appearing primed for a strong run despite drawing a potentially unfavorable barrier, even if its finishing kick is weak.
