MY INTELLIGENT

On June 17th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 2-3-6, maintaining a moderate pace early and finishing steadily. Eight weeks prior, in a similar distance race, performance was poor with a slow start and trailing behind; a consistent pace but no finishing kick. Following a short break, the horse underwent a barrier trial but didn't show sufficient progress. Last run was unremarkable, and for this upcoming race, an 11-pound weight increase is required. Despite having two previous wins at this distance and comparable times within the group, it may struggle to keep pace with leading horses. The draw is favorable, however, a lack of finishing speed presents a disadvantageous situation; a conservative approach is recommended initially.
