On June 27th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse urged to maintain an even pace. Eight weeks ago in a dirt track race over 1200m, it performed respectably, jumping slowly but finishing strongly with good momentum. Following a short break, one barrier trial showed no significant improvement. Returning from its first run over a Happy Valley 1200m, this horse will carry two pounds less weight for this race, though the draw isn't ideal. Despite having some record on this distance and comparable times to its group, the barrier position is favourable, requiring a hold-up tactic; strong finishing kick within the group is anticipated, but it’s not considered a leading contender in this race.
