On 4/7, the horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 5-3-2), moving forward comfortably in sections with a relaxed stride. On 13/6 at Conghua turf trial over 1200m, he showed initial promise on the straight, making good ground. A further turf trial at Conghua over 800m on 13/5 was his first test after moving stables and demonstrated positive energy. Prior to June, a Happy Valley sprint yielded a lackluster performance, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with an even pace but lacking a finishing kick. After a period of rest, he has undergone three barrier trials showing slight improvement. Making his debut for a new stable, this horse is stepping back to Happy Valley over 1200m. He benefits from a three-pound weight reduction, however the draw isn't ideal. Despite having past form at this distance and comparable times with rivals, the advantageous barrier position doesn’t guarantee an opportunity.
