On June 27th, this horse recorded the fastest time in a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua, leading comfortably throughout. Eight weeks ago, it ran poorly in a dirt track race over 1200m with a slow start and settled towards the rear of the field; lacking any finishing kick, it was well-defeated. After a short break, a barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m this time with a two-pound weight reduction but an unfavorable draw, its prospects are hindered despite previous form at this distance and comparable times within the group; preparation is key, and a significant performance isn't anticipated.
