Three weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before making a strong late run with good sectionals. He finished fifth, beaten two lengths. This time, he carries no additional weight but will likely be held up again; however, his finishing kick may not be sufficient to beat the opposition and the situation is not ideal. Fortunately, the overall timing of the group is reasonable and he has drawn a decent barrier, leaving some potential opportunity.
