On June 27th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse finish second, first, and third respectively, indicating improving speed. On June 13th, another Conghua turf trial over 1000m showed initiative as it took an early lead but faded slightly towards the finish line. A trial on April 25th over 1000m at Conghua saw it lead from a mid-barrier position, weakening rapidly after the 200m mark. This is its debut run as a new horse; training commenced in Hong Kong in early March. Three barrier trials have been conducted this season with unremarkable results – showing a low gait, early speed and short sprint ability but lacking acceleration and full power. For this initial outing, it’s best to observe one race first.
