On June 26th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1) the horse broke well from a mid barrier and showed increasing enthusiasm throughout the trial. Six weeks ago in the same distance race, performance was very poor; slow start, settling towards the back with an even pace and no finishing kick. One barrier trial has shown some improvement. This time with a one-pound weight reduction, this horse has failed to win in four attempts over this distance, and the section times of its group are not favorable. Despite having good early speed potential and drawing a reasonable barrier, it isn't considered a leading contender for this race.
