Now stepping up to 1800m at Happy Valley for the first time, this horse carries only a one-pound penalty and is expected to track the leaders or set the pace. The draw isn’t ideal, but the horse possesses a clear advantage in ability compared to its rivals. The jockey has some understanding of the horse's capabilities, and the trainer appears confident, with pre-race conditioning work being undertaken. A clean break should see it positioned forward.
